Uderns is located at an elevation of 549 m in the heart of the Zillertal where the valley is the widest and the sun shines the longest. Uderns is very quiet and rural yet in the middle of the all the action and vacation opportunities in the Zillertal.
In town, you will find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a post office, and the Zillertalbahn train station.
Vacation in the Zillertal
We are especially proud of being designated as an ancestral farm by the state of Tyrol.
The farm was built in 1659 and is still under family ownership to this day. Since 1994, the business has been run by Franz and Helga Mair. From 2008 - 2014, the farm was newly renovated and designed.
We will pamper you with regional dairy and meat products.
Zillertal Skiareas & Superskipass
As the world’s largest skiing valley, the Zillertal is perfect for limitless winter sports. 180 of the most modern lift facilities bring you quickly and comfortably from an altitude of 580 metres to an altitude of 3,350 metres above sea level.
530 kilometres of optimally groomed slopes provide the right challenge for any taste, including demanding, sporty downhill runs and pristine slopes covered in deep powder snow as well as sunny and wide carving slopes for families, beginners and aficionados.
And if that was not enough: snowboard fun parks, permanent racing & speed courses, ski kindergartens as well as numerous cosy ski huts and magnificently situated mountain restaurants with sun terraces will simply delight all guests.
The Zillertal is divided into the following 4 extensive skiing areas:
- Hochzillertal - Hochfügen - Spieljoch
- Zillertal Arena
- Mayrhofner Bergbahnen
- Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000
Guests deserve nothing but the best
- this is the philosophy of the Mair family.
Friendliness and personal service are the top priorities in this family-run business!
Franz Mair along with children Patrik, Antonia, and Franz Jr. look forward to welcoming you.
We hope you have a wonderful, fun, and relaxing vacation at the Bachmayerhof.
